Ive used this in limited amounts, as I didnt really want to not grow facial hair. Shaving is a hobby and I dont want to keep myself from it. That being said, I do like the scent, its nice and modern, but the shave was not the best Ive had. I prefer a few cheaper creams that perform just as well (Posted on 11/8/2014)

  2. Used The British Review by Joshua

Dreadnought or "The Bluebeards Revenge" if you've gotten ahold of the British labeled version. Gave this its first go today - the package/container - catches the eye, the scent very nice - not overbearing, and easy to build a nice lather - doesn't require much at all on the brush (a good initial dab on the brush and I easily had enough lather for each reapply atg/xtg). Cons: The price may be a bit much when compared to some of its competitors and their scents/performances. And of course the big question w/ the Dreadnought/The Bluebeards Revenge line is the decelerine. However, this is something I'll not actually weigh-in on as I tend to rotate soaps/creams w/ each shave. Thus I have no real worriment towards its positive or negative effects depending on the view. 3. Similar to cheaper creams Review by Tai

I was anxious to try this cream, I mean, lets be honest, it looks super cool! But, when I finally gave it a go, I was let down. The cream performs well, but not as well as DR Harris, Tabac, etc. You could get Proraso and save a bunch of cash. I guess the biggest selling point is supposed to be it slows hair growth or something, I haven't noticed anything, and don't really want to pay extra for something that doesn't work! 4. Shave like a pirate Review by Jason

I have a complicated relationship with Dreadnaught products, and specifically this one. The cream lathers up nicely and I really like the modern scent. What I'm not to crazy about is decelerine. I like shaving, and this is ingredient is supposed to slow the growth of your hair which means shaving less often, which I don't like. Thankfully, my facial hair is nice and thick, so it's not much of a worry. (Posted on 6/30/2014)

  5. Great Scent and Performance Review by Scott

The scent of this shaving cream is very modern and masculine. The lather is easy to build and very slick and protective. A little goes a long way with this stuff!!! (Posted on 6/23/2014)

  6. Great cream, love the smell Review by Brian

I was always a little concerned with the extra hair growth inhibitor, so I don't us it as much anymore. I do love the scent, very barbershoppy, but modern. Great slickness and performance. Just wish I could get it without the extra ingredient! (Posted on 6/10/2014)

  7. Good performance, decelerine did nothing Review by Mitchell

My first shave cream to be used with a brush.

It actually has quite nice performance, and the smell is alright.

There are definitely better options for smell and performance at this price, but I think it's main claim is the decelerine.

This tin lasted me two months, and in that time I saw no improvement in beard appearance.

I might be an exception, or it may need longer time to work. But at the very least, it didn't work for me. (Posted on 5/29/2014)
