•African Shea Butter - Shea Butter is an excellent source of Vitamin A, E and F as well as essential fatty acids, proteins and cinnamic acid. These natural healing properties provide intense moisture, promote cell renewal and protect against harmful UV rays.
•Safflower Oil - is naturally high in the vitamin E antioxidant. Topical use of safflower oil helps "maintain the skin's outer protective layer," by coating your skin and also enhances its natural moisture barrier. Safflower oil is also naturally high in omega-6 fatty acids.
•Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Olive Oil contains four major antioxidants like Vitamin A and Vitamin E allowing them to work as a cleanser, moisturizer and protector. Vitamin E partly accounts for the anti-aging benefits of this substance because it helps restore skin elasticity. Extra virgin olive oil penetrates deep into the skin on your face, providing needed moisture as well as a shield to protect your skin.
Shaving can cause razor rash, bumps and nicks. Products that contain Olive Oil can prevent this from occurring.
•Coconut Oil - All natural oil producing a wonderful lather. Coconut oil is useful for dry, itchy, sensitive skin. Offers great “slip” especially for shaving. It will not clog pores and absorbs readily into the skin. Coconut oil contains saturated fats such as lauric acid, caprylic acid and capric acid. It also contains large amounts of triglycerides, proteins, antioxidants and vitamin E. Lauric acid and capric acid are both anti-bacterial and anti-microbial. Coconut oil's small molecular structure allows the vitamin E and protein to rejuvenate and soothe the skin.
•Glycerin (Kosher Vegetable) - a natural source emollient which softens, soothes and hydrates skin. The primary use of glycerin for the skin is as a moisturizer for dry, rough or scaly skin. Various studies have clearly demonstrated that glycerin has humectant properties, drawing water into the outer layer of the skin. Vegetable glycerin is hypoallergenic and aids in preventing breakouts and keeping pores clear.
•Pure Essential Oils: Most essential oils are high in antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. Essential oils are small in molecular size and are absorbed well by the skin. Many EO's are intended to heal, soften, and nourish skin.
•Witch Hazel -Witch hazel is an extract from the leaves and bark of the North American shrub Hamamelis virginiana. One of Witch Hazel's most impressive properties is its anti-inflammatory effects on conditions like razor burns, skin rash and bug bites. Witch Hazel also has great anti-microbial, astringent, sun burn care and moisturizer properties as well.
•Sustainable Palm Oil: Palm oil is a type of vegetable oil derived from the palm fruit, grown on the African oil palm tree. The oil is full of many healthy fatty acids, as well as an assortment of vitamins, antioxidants, and other phytonutrients. Additionally, the oil has incredibly high levels of vitamin A and vitamin E. Vitamin E can stop the negative effects of UV rays on the skin, preventing aging of the skin and even helping treat sunburns. Continued use of products rich in vitamin E can reduce fine lines and wrinkles on the skin.
