  1. Pretty great Review by Mike

Tried this today along side Soap Commander Integrity. Just as great performance wise, if not a little easier to lather. It had less scent to me, but all in all its a toss up as to which I prefer (Posted on 11/11/2014)

Proraso products are generally top notch for the price, and last a long time. The white formula just didn't do it for me. I have hard water, and generally work with creams, but even being able to produce a lather with the green soap, the white soap just wouldn't explode for the life of me! As always, your mileage may vary, but it just didn't work for me. (Posted on 8/26/2014)

  3. Let down Review by Neil

This was the first soap/cream (croap) that I purchased when I got into DE shaving. After reading awesome reviews of Proraso, I decided to go with the sensitive soap they offered, Proraso white, and it just didn't workout. I just mainly got a foamy, airy lather. It obviously could have been me, as I just started wet shaving, but for the life of me, I couldn't get the water/soap ratio down and was just always left with razor burn. This definitely has no menthol feel, and left my skin feeling pretty dry after each shave. I'd check out TOBS if you are new to wet shaving and have hard water like me! (Posted on 8/7/2014)

  4. Great soap quality/don't care for the scent Review by Christopher

This soap is a great all around soap in terms of performance but I don't care for the scent. I really prefer the scent of the Proraso Green or Red to this one. It's still a great soap though:) (Posted on 7/22/2014)

    First

First off I love this scent. I regularly revisit this soap and it's easy to lather. I get a nice slick lather however I find it doesn't lather up like other products I use. You can get a nice smooth shave from it. I'd recommend it however IMO there are better products out there. The price point is phenomenal which led me to try it and by no means am I disappointed in it. (Posted on 7/15/2014)

  6. A great soap but didn't work for my skin Review by Richard

This is Proraso's sensitive skin product and I was rather excited to try it out as I have rather sensitive skin and go out of my way to avoid products high in perfume, alcohol, etc.

The very first time I used it I noticed a chilling effect and looking closer at the ingredients I noticed that it indeed has Menthol in it.
I found it to be pretty unusual for a soap for sensitive skin to include that as that can be a cause for flaring up anything from acne to rosacea.
I noticed that my skin indeed did not take very well to the soap so it has become a shelf warmer for me personally.

Now, note that 'sensitive skin' is a rather broad term and there are bound to be a lot of people that consider their skin to be sensitive and where this product works well for them. Try to base your purchase on past experience with the ingredients listed for any product you purchase. (Posted on 7/4/2014)

A wonderful soap. It is great in every aspect. I prefer the scent of the green proraso to the white. It is very mild in comparison to most soaps which is nice if you have sensitive skin. (Posted on 6/24/2014)

Proraso is the king of reliable soaps. This stuff feels great on the face, produces a quality lather even in hardwater, and I can rely on this stuff for a great shave. Sensitive skin wet shavers, this is for you! (Posted on 6/13/2014)

This is the most soothing shaving product I have ever used! Proraso white should be the go-to product for anyone with remotely sensitive skin. Highly recommended! (Posted on 6/6/2014)

  10. Very Solid Soap Review by Aaron

Proraso White is an excellent soap in a convenient tub that I highly recommend. It's a very mild soap (aloe and tea ingredients) and while not the slickest soap I've used does a great job of never aggravating my skin.
I currently use an Omega boar brush and prefer to face lather, this soap lather quickly and keeps its form for a while.

At $12 this is a great value as well, lasting me the better part of 3 months.
My only qualm here is that this (like some other Proraso products) leaves a white residue on my safety razor after my shave. It hasn't caused any issues so far as I can tell but requires an attentive eye during clean up. (Posted on 5/16/2014)

  11. Another great value from Proraso! Review by Paul

This cream is great for those who do not like menthol, but want to experience the classic quality of Proraso. The Italian method produces such great lather and skincare, and this one is no exception... it's designed for sensitive skin, and performs quite well in that role. I use this when I need to heal from a razor burn, or when I want a worry free shave. (Posted on 5/15/2014)
